Intro

Roze Developments is a new, up-and-coming property developer founded by current Oxford United defender Elliott Moore and his wife Phoebe.

Roze will sit at the intersection of nature, sustainability and wellbeing, and will revolutionise the way that land owners and investors think about property development. It will weave the values of its owners into everything do - unique biophilic design, solid wood frames and concepts of minimalism separating them from the norm.

The Roze concept was born when Elliott and Phoebe’s family grew, giving them a fresh perspective of the type of world they wanted to leave for their children. Being eco-friendly is a fundamental part of their brand story, as they look to shake up an industry that remains one of the leading contributors to the climate crisis.

Having played with Elliott during my own football career, I knew that his drive to make a difference went beyond the football pitch and, having seen the passion he has for this new business venture first-hand, I have no doubt that it will go on to be a huge success.

The Brief

This project was made much easier because of the detailed brief provided by Elliott and Phoebe, both of whom had a clear understanding of what story they wanted to tell.

The task was to create a logo that incorporated natural colours and utilised a rose within it, and create a brochure that introduced the company, which could be used to give investors and land owners an outline of what Roze was all about.

The Work

Working collaboratively with both co-founders, several logo concepts were created that used natural, muted colours and a rose - both of which offered a visual analogy of the brand values.

For all of the design stages, three core visual elements were present: the rose within the lettering, a mixture of earthy colours, and the lettering showing the brand name in a range of fonts.

Once the client approved the logo design, we got to work on designing the bespoke brochure for both print and digital, incorporating the brand colours that were used in the logo.

The layout, imagery and copy follows a similar theme throughout and showcases the founder story, Roze concept and mission statement. By including professional photography of Elliott’s young family, it not only shares the professional side of the business with prospective clients, but also the personal and intimate story of the pair behind the brand. Looking deeper into the design, a slick, clean finish was achieved through layered imagery. Petals and other natural elements provided the finishing touches.

The RESULT

“DRIFT were able to transform all of our rough drawings and ideas into reality. We needed a new logo and digital brochure, which they delivered to the highest standard. They are exceptional people that ooze creativity and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to get a business off the ground.”
