OUR STORY
Founded in 2023, DRIFT is a bespoke digital agency built exclusively for athletes.
We were founded to help athletes thrive during and after their sports careers. To do this, we have carefully brought together a team of designers, developers, content creators, strategists and go-to market specialists - all of whom share a passion for sport and tech - to deliver scroll-stopping personal brands and successful businesses.
Our overarching mission is to give professional athletes the foundations to succeed in life beyond their sport.
We support the transition into business by bringing start-up ideas to life and building brands that excel in the digital world.
WHY DRIFT?
The name DRIFT stems from our founder Joe Davis’ experience transitioning away from a 10-year career in professional football. Without clear direction and a loss of identity, retired athletes are in danger of drifting through life without ever rediscovering their purpose. This is what we call ‘the drift’ and it forms the basis of why we exist - to help you avoid it and to instead give you the tools and support to run a successful business alongside, or after, professional sport.
Meet the FOUNDER
JOE DAVIS
DRIFT was born out of Joe’s passion for helping athletes and combines his expertise in digital communications and brand management. For the last five years Joe has been building businesses from the ground up for professional sportsmen and women all around the world, both in tandem with their sports careers and in retirement.
Having experienced first-hand the challenges that can arise when transitioning away from full-time football into another career, Joe is now committed to making the process a seamless one for as many athletes as possible, bridging the gap between sport and business and giving individuals the tools to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.
